Rose Cottage is located in the idyllic Robson Valley, surrounded by three mountain ranges, making it the perfect location to explore the natural beauty of the area. Guests are welcome to share an evening with their host and other guests either around the fire in winter or on the porch watching the sun set in summer.  It's not just providing accommodation, it's about creating a memory.

Endless hikes for all levels of fitness await you (http://valemounttrails.com/). A short 7 minute walk from Rose Cottage gives you access to Cranberry Marsh/Starrat Wildlife Area Loop (http://valemounttrails.com/cranberry-marshstarratt-wildlife-management-area/). A mere 20 minute drive takes you to Mount Robson (the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies 3,954m), where you can access the trailhead to Kinney Lake – or for the more ambitious hikers check out Berg Lake https://www.hellobc.com/mount-robson.aspx

15 minutes from Rose Cottage you can hike at Jackman Flats (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/jackman_flats/) where you will find an ecosystem considered unique in British Columbia. 


The Area

Rose Cottage is located in the beautiful Robson Valley. Surrounded by three mountain ranges (the Rockies, Monashees & Carboo) Valemount offers a wide variety of activities for all seasons. In summer take a trail ride with Willow Ranch or join them Friday/Saturday/Sunday at 7pm for Ranch Night (includes dinner, horse whispering demo and line dancing) https://www.willowranchvalemount.com/ranch-night, or Cowgirl Up Adventures https://www.cowgirlupadventures.com/home-maple or if you are into mountain biking, this is the place for you!

In the winter months, stay at Rose Cottage and enjoy cross country skiing, snowshoeing or dog sledding http://www.dogsleddinginjasper.com/ and  then return to Rose Cottage to curl up by the fire for a relaxing evening or exchange stories with other travellers.

Kinney Lake


Day trip to Jasper - 120km from Rose Cottage, which makes it an excellent jumping off point to spend a few days in the park. Enroute stop at Reaguard Falls and Mt. Robson. Clearwater is two hours south and gives access to Wells Grey Provincial Park to see Helmcken Falls (the 4th largest falls in Canada). (http://www.wellsgray.ca/).  North of Valemount day trip to The Ancient Forest/Chun T’oh Whudujut Provincial Park http://tourismpg.com/activities/ancient-forest-east where you can view enormous ancient cedar trees within BC's inland rainforest.

Cancellation: Unfortunately you will be charged your first nights room rate if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to check in. All reservations need to be held on a valid credit card.

From the  North, after passing the traffic lights at the entrance to the Village, continue South until you see the directional sign for Blue River/Kamloops. Take your next left. From the South, take your next right after passing the Best Western
